Bob Folse 's music is a harmonious blend of Flamenco, Latin, Jazz, Classical and Brazillian guitar. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston , he currently resides in South Florida. His Spanish guitar combines with Latin tropical rhythms to create an exciting and passionate sound, topped off with inspirational improvisations. Bob Folse has released five CD’s under his own record label "Lyon Records": "Fuego" "Sentimientos", La Rumba" ,"Christmas" and "Jazzrumba". His CD "Sentimientos" was runner up for The Big Easy" best Latin CD category and his CD’s "La Rumba" and "Christmas" both received critical acclaim in the Offbeat music magazine . Locally established, Bob Folse performs in many parts of the United States as well as internationally. He has appeared as a soloist or with his group "Fuego" in many distinctive settings including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the Suntrust Jazz Brunch in Fort Lauderdale. He has also been awarded a Louisiana Jazz Composer's grant to record his original compositions. Bob Folse's excellence on his guitar is only equaled by his passion for the music and true inspiration, producing a beautiful and unforgettable sound.
