We will rewrite the lyrics to songs from the show so that they tell the story of how your best brokers interact with their clients. Four fabulous singers costumed as The Four Seasons will perform the songs and a narrator will help drive the story. The show will last 15-20 minutes. It can play in two or three acts performed at scripted moments in the evening or as a one-act. At a scripted point in the show, an attendee (really an actress) will surprise your audience as she is brought onstage by the boys and then breaks into song, joining the show. The show will close with an emotional toast to your organization, its people and your clients. To celebrate your people, products and meeting’s agenda, we propose creating our own version of the show. We will name the show accordingly. A Dynamic Meeting Opener or Closer Featuring SHOUT We will custom-create a performance of the classic R&B hit song, Shout. The lyrics will be rewritten to convey your company’s heartfelt appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and the exceptional accomplishments of your audience…and any point you need to communicate. The Cast A male and a female R&B actor/singer, both with major Broadway credits 2 sensational dancers A special guest speaker is introduced to the podium, for example…“Ladies and gentlemen, our next speaker is here to honor you tonight. He’s a noted expert on Workplace Excellence and the author of the book The Road To Achievement. From the Commerce Department in Washington D.C., please welcome Dr. Lawrence Clayton.” Dr. Clayton takes the podium and gives a brief and very believable speech. He begins to make a passionate point, and we suddenly hear the musical introduction to Shout (prerecorded on CD). Your guests are surprised as he gestures to the room and sings to each group present. As an example… "I see all the CSR’s, Division Managers, Sales Associates, Sales Managers, etc…you make a difference with your hard work and dedication each and every day -- and it makes me feeeeeel alright! And you know it makes me want to Shout, kick my heels up and Shout, throw my head back and Shout…." Suddenly the stage lights come alive, the music kicks in, and our singer launches into his high-energy performance incorporating your key messages into the lyrics. Midway through the song the music suddenly stops. A woman in the middle of the audience stands and the spotlight hits her. She thoroughly surprises your audience as she belts out, "Now way--ee-ay--ee-ait a minute!" She sings the praises of your attendees as she struts up to the stage. The moment she takes the stage the song kicks back in gear. As an additional surprise, a pair of dancers (who’ve been posing as waiters or attendees) jumps onstage and joins the show. At the "hey-ey-ey-ey" and the "…a little bit softer/louder" parts of the song, our performers reach out to the audience to sing along. The song comes to a high-energy conclusion, and our performers take their bows to enthusiastic applause! |
